I’m using dreamweaver cs3 and fireworks cs3 to export css
slices from fireworks an dimport them into dreamweaver. The
exported fireworks html file and images are in a folder within my
sites image folder.
When using studio 8 on my laptop this works fine, but in cs3
the imported fireworks html is loading as broken links – i.e. its
referencing the images as though they were in the root along with
the dreamweaver page, rather than referencing into the images
folder. Why is this – all my settings seem to be the same as on my
laptop? The fireworks html file is in the same folder as the
referenced images.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

It sounds like a pathing issue. Is the FWs html inside the
images folder on
both machines… that doesn’t sound right anyway… should it
go into the
images folder?
A suggestion: It’s not a good idea to export the html from a
graphics
program (no matter which you use). You are better off
exporting only the
slices and then building the page yourself in DW. Exported
html will only
give you a rigid, inflexible layout and may cause layouts to
break at merest
suggestion of increasing text size in a browser.
