Hello

 

I have installed the 64 bit Mandriva Linux 2010 version. My computer is a desktop one and it has an AMD processor. The computer is about 6 years old.

Firefox works fine.

I can go to the Internet.

The problem is with Adobe Flash Player.

I have downloaded the following and installed.

 

install_flash_player_11_linux.x86_64.tar.gz

 

The installation process worked fine.

It created the file ‘libflashplayer.so’

However, the problem remains.

I guess the file ‘libflashplayer.so’ is not in the correct place.

Please help me.

 

By default the system downloaded on to the folder ‘Downloads’ and I used the command ‘tar -zxvf  install_flash_player_11_linux.x86_64.tar.gz’.

So it extracted on to the ‘Downloads’ folder.
