Does anyone know of a multilevel menu that can be placed at
the bottom of a page or frame, and the sub menus spring up instead
of dropping down? It also needs to have support for background
images for the menus.

Our PMM menu system can be tweaked to do that. I know of no
other DW

menus that can out of the box. The info is here:

PMM is a commercial Dreamweaver extension, however.
