About a month ago I started having a problem with indesign. Everytime I try to save a document/ project I receive the message ‘Cannot save “Untitled-1″ under a new name. The file DBTmp653052007256224″ is damaged (Error code: 0)’ I have tried restarting the computer and reinstalling the program but it will not work. The files will save as PDF and INX files but I want to be able to save them as Indesign files. Can anyone provide me with the steps to correct this error. Thanks.
P.S. It is on a mac OSX

Have you tried opening one of the inx files and saving that as an InDesign file?

And you have some really horrible problem on the system if this is happening. Maybe you’ll get lucky and trashing your prefs is all you need (see Replace Your Preferences) but more likely this is a network issue (if you work across a network) or a corrupt install or some sort of conflict with other software. You need to try to track this down before you lose something important.
